Whether you want classic, greasy Canadian pizza or something a bit closer to true Italian tradition, Port Credit is an excellent place to explore the world of pizza. This list was honestly hard to make, as there are so many standouts, but we’re here nonetheless — so, let's talk about the best pizza in Port Credit, shall we?
From sports bars to a bakery-turned-pizza joint, there’s an option on this list for everyone — and I urge you to take my word on that fact. They’re fresh, simple, and all one could need when craving a solid slice.
Top 3: The Best Pizza in Port Credit
Pizza Nostra
Pizza Nostra is an ode to the classic Italian-American pizza joint. Located in Mississauga, brothers Andrea and Marco Grande — and Marco’s wife, Lilly — founded this humble joint in 2015. Since then, locals to Port Credit have learned what many out-of-towners would soon discover, too. Pizza Nostra offers delicious, classic pizza in a cozy environment, earning it a spot with some of the best pizza in Port Credit.
Since their inception, they’ve fine-tuned everything from their house-made sausage to the perfect dough, leading to an addicting experience with every bite. Their classic pies offer a slightly thinner crust, reminiscent of California-style pies, while those who (like me) love a good Sicilian pie can still experience one of the best crusts of the style in Port Credit.
Their pizza is simple, and over the years, I’ve found that to be the little-known secret to success. They don’t overload the pies, opting for carefully placed (and portioned) toppings, leading to a perfectly balanced pizza.
Pizza e Dolci

Pizza e Dolci is a particular standout in this list for two reasons, the largest of which is the owner. Roman-born, Barbara Accogli grew up in Toronto as the daughter of an Italian pastry chef. This simple fact is clear in every aspect of her business, from the meticulously crafted dough that forms the heart of each pie to the classic Italian desserts (dolci) that are made every day in-house.
In tandem with her husband, Chef Carmine Accogli, Barbara has run this joint with perfection at every step. The pies boast a crunchy, light crust (as you’d expect from a baker of her merit) and rich sauce in tandem with quality, simple ingredients. If you’ve been reading my work for a while, you already know that I’m a sucker for simplicity, and Pizza e Dolci is an exemplary instance of that fact.
As if delicious pizza wasn’t enough, the dolci, or desserts, are genuinely fantastic. Classic Italian desserts, such as cannoli and tiramisu, are so good that I would happily recommend Pizza e Dolci as your next stop for dessert alone — so give them a chance; they’re well deserving, and any date night will be better for that leap of faith. After all, what's there to lose with the best pizza in Port Credit and some killer dessert?
Marconi Pizza
Marconi Pizza is another classic Italian joint that deserves attention from Port Credit locals. Founded by Paul Celli over fifty years ago, they’re still going strong — and for good reason. They make fantastic pies with a passion that’s born only from dedication to the craft, perhaps why the joint bears the name of Guglielmo Marconi, Italian electrical engineer and inventor.
I’ve often said that quality comes from simplicity, and this is a secret that the chefs at Marconi know all too well. Their mozzarella is authentic, fresh mozz; their toppings are always fresh (never canned), and their meats come straight from the butcher. While these may seem like small steps toward quality, they’re not — they form the basis for something genuinely beautiful.
I could wax poetic about this joint for ages, but the simple reality is that they’ve fully earned a place on this list with over fifty years of tweaks in pursuit of perfection. While I firmly believe no pizza is ever truly perfect (after all, art requires innovation), they’ve gotten quite close thanks to passion, quality, and repetition.

While we've covered a few truly excellent pizza joints on this journey, we're not quite done. The spots below, while not as influential or trendy, still make some of the best pizza in Port Credit. Take a peek — you may find your next cheesy addiction below.
Great Canadian Pizza
The name Great Canadian Pizza is one that’s lived in Port Credit for decades. Founded in 1984, they’re a family-owned-and-run joint that serves up handcrafted pies with fantastic ingredients. Each aspect of their pies oozes attention to detail: the sauce is rich and luxurious, the dough perfectly proofed and rolled, and the toppings fresh.
As I’ve said time and again (and again, and again…), the simple truth is that quality comes from consistency. Great Canadian Pizza knows this rule in and out, and it shows. Their pies are a classic west coast-style, loaded with toppings and cheese, making for a somewhat nostalgic bite that’s well executed from start to finish.
Luca Pizza
Luca Pizza is a mainstay to Port Credit, as many locals know. Opened in 1975, they’ve been around the block once or twice — and it shows in their pies. They’re no-frills, handmade pizzas that are accompanied by hockey on the big screen (as it should be). While their family-style vibe may not be for the more hip crowd, they’ve built a name that’s synonymous with quality pies for nearly fifty years.
I firmly believe that there are few things better in this life than a cold beer and hot slice — and Luca has them both in droves.
